さて、今日は レベル的には700点前後の 問題ですが、語彙力強化・基礎文法の確認もできるので、しっかりいきましょう！
今日は解説については、動画の解説を入れてみましたが、初めてカメラを相手に解説したので、
本来の力が出せなくて少し、不完全燃焼気味ですが、これから徐々にMOVIEによる解説の腕を上げていきたいと思っておりますので、

Byson Foods, the largest ditributor of frozen chicken in the country, has announced that it will (1) California’s McAllister Chicken Ranch by the end of the week.

＜解答・解説＞

（1）Ｄ
ここでは"merge"と"acquire"の二択になると思います。
merge:吸収する・合併する
acquire：手に入れる・獲得する
ですが、この文脈では、Byson FoodsがMcAllister Chickenをお金で買っているので、acquireの方が意味的には良いでしょう。

（2）Ｂ
時制の問題は、時制の決め手となるキーワードが必ずあります。この文では、文末のlast Fridayがそのキーワードにあたります。
過去の一時点を表す言葉が来ているので、答えは単に過去形を使っているapprovedです。

（3）Ｃ
この部分は空欄の直前に"planned：事前に計画された"という形容詞があるので、空欄には名詞が必要です。

（4）Ｄ
この問題は、少し手強いので、動画で説明しますね。
初動画だったので、微妙ですが・・・。うーん。実際の人間に話す方が楽だー！
